And all of a sudden it’s all over…

…and the team come back to the UK after a busy week at Hannover Messe 2011.

Some very fruitful meetings were held, ideas exchanged, some of our biggest distributors came and spent time with the team, and we picked up some really exciting projects, so in all there was a firm “tick” in the “success” box for the show.

Whilst it is undeniable that the organisers dropped the ball when re-locating our sector to Hall 17, our last minute change of booth, plus the tireless work done by the stand-build and on-stand teams, greatly mitigated the impact of this.  We now know what needs to be done for when we participate next year and will be working hard with the organisers to ensure that we are sited in the hall location that best suits you!

Thanks for taking the time to visit the deegee booth, and for your on-going interest in the brand.  If you’ve asked for further details we’ll get these to you over the next couple of days, otherwise, please look out for further product updates over the coming months, and do not hesitate to make contact with our sales or technical team if you need any further assistance at all.

The show is now open!

The preparation’s done, the displays are polished, the lights are lit and the show is open.

It’s the first day of Hannover Messe 2011, and with a busy diary of meetings set for the week, we look forward to sharing some new concepts with you, reviewing your account, and setting some action plans for our mutual businesses into 2012.

If you haven’t set a formal meeting time, don’t worry, just visit Jon, Lisa and Stacey in Hall 17 Stand A30 at a convenient time. We look forward to meeting with you.

Final week of preparation for Hannover Messe 2011

Final week of preparation for Hannover Messe 2011 – D. G. Controls (deegee) Hall 17, A30

Months of preparation go into exhibiting at a show such as the Hannover Messe, but with the final push for collating display and marketing material, the construction team will soon be on their way, building a superb-looking stand for us at our new location.

As we already said in our earlier blog, the management team at Hannover Messe have changed the hall for the beacon exhibitors this year, co-locating us with the robotics exhibitors in Hall 17.  With one of deegee’s newest concepts being designed especially for the machinery and robotics sector,  this is a very timely partnering of the two sectors of the show.

If you are limited for time during your visit, you can still schedule a meeting with Jon Whiten, Managing Director, Lisa Baum, Office Manager and Stacey Porter, Sales Administrator, otherwise just pop-along to the stand at your convenience, and there will always be someone able to help you.

We still have a few free entrance passes, so if you would like one, please send an e-mail to mail@beaconlamps.com and we will send you the passcode.

Don’t forget, the show runs between Monday 4th and Friday 8th April 2011.  Each day’s opening times can be found at  www.hannovermesse.de

STOP PRESS – Hannover Messe 2011 Change of booth

As you will know from our previous blogs, the management team at Hannover Messe have changed the hall for the beacon exhibitors this year, co-locating us with the robotics exhibitors in Hall 17.  This is an exciting move for deegee, as many of our beacons are used in just these type of machine settings.

However, adding to our excitement is an offer made to D. G. Controls this week of a change of booth location, still within Hall 17, but moving to A30, which is a more central spot, and launches us into the heart of the action.

With a number of really exciting developments showing at Hannover 2011 for the first time, including one especially for the machinery and robotics sector,  the team are all geared-up and ready to go.

Please use the opportunity to have a meeting with Jon Whiten, Managing Director, Lisa Baum, Office Manager and Stacey Porter, Sales Administrator.  These are the people who know and handle your accounts, so the show really is a fantastic forum to discuss with the team how we can further enhance your business with the deegee brand, and for you to get on-board with the new products and applications.

If you would like a free entrance pass, please send an e-mail to mail@beaconlamps.com and we will organise however many you require.

The show runs between Monday 4th and Friday 8th April 2011.  For further details visit  www.hannovermesse.de

Hannover 2010

After a series of very fruitful meetings at the Hannover Messe 2010 in April, we are delighted that first product training took place at the premises of our newest distributor in August.  We shall be announcing details in due course, but have been discussing opportunities with this organisation for several years and mutually feel that the time is now right to launch the deegee products into their market.

In fact, this distributor brought one of their clients to the Hannover 2010 booth to evaluate a new product concept we had designed specifically for them;  they were thrilled, and have already placed their initial orders.

Don’t forget – we are at SPS/IPC/Drives in November!
