Final week of preparation for Hannover Messe 2011

Final week of preparation for Hannover Messe 2011 – D. G. Controls (deegee) Hall 17, A30

Months of preparation go into exhibiting at a show such as the Hannover Messe, but with the final push for collating display and marketing material, the construction team will soon be on their way, building a superb-looking stand for us at our new location.

As we already said in our earlier blog, the management team at Hannover Messe have changed the hall for the beacon exhibitors this year, co-locating us with the robotics exhibitors in Hall 17.  With one of deegee’s newest concepts being designed especially for the machinery and robotics sector,  this is a very timely partnering of the two sectors of the show.

If you are limited for time during your visit, you can still schedule a meeting with Jon Whiten, Managing Director, Lisa Baum, Office Manager and Stacey Porter, Sales Administrator, otherwise just pop-along to the stand at your convenience, and there will always be someone able to help you.

We still have a few free entrance passes, so if you would like one, please send an e-mail to mail@beaconlamps.com and we will send you the passcode.

Don’t forget, the show runs between Monday 4th and Friday 8th April 2011.  Each day’s opening times can be found at  www.hannovermesse.de

XFD/UC/24/SH/2.5J/Colour

In response to enquiries from some of our key customers, deegee has modified the XFD product to accommodate a Universal Current.  This opens up new possibilities with this little xenon beacon.

Specified at 24V AC and DC, the unit is otherwise the same, housed in the little D housing, with its 102 mm height and 79 mm base diameter.  With an easy to wire terminal block, and entry to the ABS base via a 10mm cable entry hole, the XFD is very easy to install and maintain.  Offering 360 degree all-round and 270 degree all-over visibility, the XFD packs a lot of punch when it comes to flash intensity per unit size.

Low voltage mains is a popular choice for air-conditioners, heating and cooling systems, and so to have a warning or status signal which works on this same voltage makes for a much easier installation.  One of the specialities of D. G. Controls is its ability to adapt and develop product to more particularly suit customer needs.  This is all possible because of our in-house development department and manufacturing facility.

STOP PRESS – Hannover Messe 2011 Change of booth

As you will know from our previous blogs, the management team at Hannover Messe have changed the hall for the beacon exhibitors this year, co-locating us with the robotics exhibitors in Hall 17.  This is an exciting move for deegee, as many of our beacons are used in just these type of machine settings.

However, adding to our excitement is an offer made to D. G. Controls this week of a change of booth location, still within Hall 17, but moving to A30, which is a more central spot, and launches us into the heart of the action.

With a number of really exciting developments showing at Hannover 2011 for the first time, including one especially for the machinery and robotics sector,  the team are all geared-up and ready to go.

Please use the opportunity to have a meeting with Jon Whiten, Managing Director, Lisa Baum, Office Manager and Stacey Porter, Sales Administrator.  These are the people who know and handle your accounts, so the show really is a fantastic forum to discuss with the team how we can further enhance your business with the deegee brand, and for you to get on-board with the new products and applications.

If you would like a free entrance pass, please send an e-mail to mail@beaconlamps.com and we will organise however many you require.

The show runs between Monday 4th and Friday 8th April 2011.  For further details visit  www.hannovermesse.de

New Aviation Warning Light Signals The Way

Product development is what drives businesses such as D. G. Controls Ltd forward, and having our own full-time development engineer based at our UK office gives us a reactivity second to none when it comes to developing products to customers’ requirements.

Recognising our position in the aircraft warning sector, orders are now in from our key distributors for the newest in the range, the SBB LED 10 Candela Aircraft Warning beacon.  Officially termed the SBB/*/*/LED/Type A/Red, this little beacon meets the ICAO regulations for low level intensity warning of aircraft.  Being a 360 degree viewing enclosure, the SBB Type A uses different LEDs from the larger SBE and SBG Type A products, offering a higher light intensity per LED, and meaning that the required brightness levels are met within the much smaller series B enclosure.

Series B is an IP65 rated enclosure, pre-moulded with M10 and M20 cable gland entries.  The lens fits with a specially designed O-ring and tightens on a bayonet-style fitting, securing with a tamper screw  into a blind hole.  Carefully designed to minimise dust and dirt build-up, and fully water-tight, Series B is perfectly suited to the outdoor environment, and with long-life LEDs, makes maintenance a thing of the past.
