C-Series launched to great reception

deegee’s recent exhibitions in Hannover and the UK have been the platform for launching the new C-Series range of beacons;  and the over-whelming response has been extremely positive and complimentary, both about the styling of the product and the performance and flexibility of the range.

The enclosure was designed to accommodate all technologies, LED, xenon and filament, and future options of a shallow base and a tall lens are already planned.  C-Series has taken deegee into new application areas, offering genuine incremental business to our wholesale and distribution customers.  Red, Amber, Green, Blue and Clear lens and LED options are available, and the units are totally configurable into traffic light sets for specific signalling requirements, or can be used individually.

deegee Series C BeaconsThe enclosure features a twist-on lens which is fitted on bayonet fixtures.  This means the back-boxes can all be installed and wired-in, and then as a secondary exercise the electronics can be connected via a pluggable terminal block.  The lens is then held in place by an anti-tamper screw to prevent unauthorised access.

Units are available in 24VDC, 115 and 230V AC, across the technology type.

Meet and Greet

April proved to be an exceptionally busy time for the deegee sales team, as the same week Jon was in Hannover for the 10th year at Hannover Messe, the UK sales team took deegee to MACH, the machinery exhibition, at the NEC, Birmingham for the 1st time.

deegee has always found Hannover Messe to be a great opportunity to meet with key export customers, and 2008 was no exception.  Thank you to all those who took the time to come and see the new C-Series range.  As always it was great to meet up.

MACH was a new show for deegee, and helped to raise the profile particularly of the stacker and STC range for machinery, both new and retro-fit.   We were visited by a number of our end-users, and this is always interesting as we get a far better insight into different applications than often the wholesalers are able to give us.

Next on the calendar is EuroLED 2008 on June 4th and 5th.  deegee are exhibiting for the 2nd year, demonstrating the new LED C-Series, and cementing our place as one of the leading LED beacon manufacturers.

Mach 08

deegee are exhibiting for the first time at Mach 08, at the NEC, Birmingham 21st – 25th April 2008, coinciding with their presence at Hannover Messe, Germany, where they have exhibited for over 10 years.

Focussing on the industrial automation sector, deegee will be demonstrating their stacking and tower beacons, as well as launching the new C-Series, a multi-configurable mini beacon, comprising LED, Xenon and Filament technology.

The home UK market is extremely valuable to deegee, and a good quality show in the UK where we can meet face-to-face with our key customers is an important part of our marketing activity.

New deegee Beacons Hitting Hannover 2008

Launched @ Hannover 2008

deegee is once again exhibiting at Hannover Messe 21 – 25th April 2008.  deegee has exhibited at this show for over 10 years, and has always used it as a forum to launch new beacons and sounders to the market.  Naturally 2008 proves no exception.

A totally new style of beacon has been added to the deegee range, to be known as the C Series, measuring 94mm diameter and 85mm high.  With over 130 product derivations, the beautifully styled small enclosure houses LED, Xenon and Filament technology, ensuring a product to fit every brightness, application and price.  A significant feature is the ability to link multiple units together to form multi-status indicators / traffic light assemblies.

With a pre-launch response from some key deegee customers of “extremely interested”, C Series looks to be a hugely successful addition to the deegee range.deegee Stand @ Hannover Messe 2008

Beacon Post-Mount

Another exciting introduction to the deegee mounting accessories portfolio is the Beacon Post-Mount, officially launched at Hannover Messe 2007.  This uses a patented fixing system with anti-rotation properties, to fix many of the deegee beacons onto standard posts.  This makes installation very easy at car-park entrances, traffic barrier systems, loading bays, etc, where posts are often already positioned.

 Beacon Post Mount

We currently have Post-Mount options suitable for Series T, U, V and W beacons, MIH/2U and MIH/3U multi-head indicators, and the IPN series LED indicator panels.

The Beacon Post-Mount compliments the existing range of Brackets and Poles for the mounting of deegee beacons. Brackets are used mainly for mounting the beacons onto a vertical surface.  However we do also have a Pole-Mount which gives height above machinery, control panels, etc to the Stacking, Tower and D-Series Beacons.  Manufactured from a 22mm diameter black powder-coated steel tube, with mounting plates top and bottom, the Pole-Mount is extremely easy to fit, wires from the beacon dropping down through the tube.  At a height of 250mm or 500mm, the beacon can always be mounted at a suitable height for maximum visibility.
