With formal launch of the “Series C” Industrial Sounder, the IAS-C, with its sound output of up to 110 dB, focus as always with the deegee range is on how versatile our products are.

Developed with an eye on the flexibility of the Series C range, a core application is the combining of the Industrial Sounder with the Series C Beacons as well as the Sign-Indicators such as the Cross, Arrows and No Entry.  The combined audible and visual signal greatly enhances the effectiveness of the warning.  Given the user-choosable 32 tones, with secondary tones, units can be tailored according to the specific hazard.

Joining the Series C units is easy, using the M10 moulded entries on the sides of the base.  Since the electronics are housed in the cap of the product, the bases can be installed at an earlier fitting phase, and the electronics installed as a second phase.  The cap is held in place with a single securing grub screw, rendering the unit  tamper-proof.

Any number of units can be joined together, and with an ingress protection rating of IP65 the Series C suits both indoor and outdoor applications.  

Most DC and AC voltages are covered within the range, and the full spectrum of deegee colours is available for the visual beacons and sign indicators.

Development is now complete on the deegee brand “Series C” Industrial Sounder, known as IAS-C.  Using the same white ABS housing as the Series C Beacons, the Sounder can be used as a stand-alone unit, or joined with one of the many visual beacons in the Series C range.

With a sound output of up to 110 dB and an initial complement of 32-selectable primary with secondary tones , the IAS-C packs a lot of punch for its size. 

Compatible with all of the Series C beacons, including the Indicator Signs, the IAS-C can be joined to the other units using the M10 moulded entries.  A further moulded M20 entry to the underside of the base makes it perfect for mounting direct to 51 centres of a conduit box.

Conforming to IP65 ingress protection, the sounder is effective for both indoor and outdoor applications.  Its low profile (85cm) makes it an attractive and discreet unit for office and public area use.

With models to cover DC and AC inputs, the IAS-C is well-equipped to suit any application.  Specifically the units cover the voltage range

• 10 – 30 Vdc
• 24 Vac
• 48 – 78 Vac
• 95 – 250 Vuc

Like the sweets in a sweetie shop, the deegee brand of beacons is available in a rainbow of colours to suit virtually all visual signalling applications.  Even our LED beacons are available, from stock, in the standard range of Red, Amber, Green, Blue and Clear.  In addition to the standard colour range, Series D beacons and Series SA Stacking Beacons can be supplied in Purple for specialist applications.  (To be honest though, we have yet to launch the “Princess Pink” range – Watch this space ?!?)

The future’s bright – follow the rainbow!

“Red and yellow and pink and green, purple and orange and blue.  I can sing a rainbow, sing a rainbow, sing a rainbow too.”

These are particularly suitable for alarm systems where power is at a premium. All models incorporate a pulsed ring of high intensity red LEDs behind a red translucent polycarbonate sounder horn. The integral 110dB(A) sounder has 32 tones, selectable by internal DIP-switches, with the primary tone energised by a simple 2-wire connection and a secondary tone via a third wire.

Maximum volume can also be adjusted by internal preset.

Two basic housing styles are available.

The standalone ISB-E is built upon the same white ABS base as the popular Series E ‘High Dome’ beacon lamps to retain the traditional look-and-feel of this long-established range of visual indicators.  The ISB-E is also compatible with existing wall-mounting brackets and cage guards.

The ISB-T utilises the same black polycarbonate base as the Series T, U, V and W beacons, with its novel ‘ratchet’ linking system which allows two or more beacons and/or sounders to be clamped together as an integrated unit.

Versions for all popular supply voltages are offered: 12V DC, 24V DC, 115V AC and 230V AC.
